Rebecca Berkley

Rebecca Berkley is an Associate Professor in Music Education at the University of Reading, and School Director of Internationalisation and Global Engagement. She is a choral conductor and percussionist, who teaches musicianship to children and adults through singing, percussion and movement at the University of Reading, and with other organisations. Rebecca directs a children’s choir at Reading University called Universal Voices which offers free choral education to children in the area, and opportunities for student conductors to learn to conduct by working with the choir. She brings a wealth of practical experience of choral education to the Harmony Signing project.
