Valerie Bannan

Valerie Bannan has enjoyed a teaching career that spans nearly 40 years.  She gained a BA in music from Cambridge University followed by a PGCE.  She subsequently worked in music education throughout her professional life, teaching classes of children and students ranging from kindergarten to A-level in a variety of different schools in the UK and Australia.  She also worked as an instrumental teacher, preparing her piano pupils for ABRSM practical and theory Grade examinations.  Now happily retired, she continues to be actively involved in music-making, singing with the St Alban’s Bach Choir, and regularly accompanying concerts and services for her teacher daughter’s school in Aylesbury.
